How much would you like to spend?

There are several reasons, why absinthe does not belong to the most unexpensive spirits:
For one thing, there is the alcohol tax - one liter pure alcohol costs 13 EUR liquor tax.
For another thing, absinthe is a very special product that is made only in a small number of units.
Careful selection and processing of the ingredients, first of all wormwood and anise, allows only a very much limited output at a high expenditure of time and human labor. On the other hand, this assures an outstanding quality. But the cost benefits of mass production are not given.
