Hybrid Absinthes do not fit in any other category, because they differ in at least one characteristic from the norm.
This does not go in common with reduced quality or authenticity, these ones are just special!
This is the first creation in the Toulouse-Lautrec series. The anise- and wormwood distillate has succeeded well, louche and colouring are still a little improvable.
The second edition of Toulouse Lautrec is a little better balanced, the herbs are more intensively perceptable and the louche also performs very well now.
The colourig herbs have been left out in the making of Toulouse Lautrec La Bleue, what might be the reason for the smoother flavour. Otherwise the differences to the second edition are rather subtle.
The Émiles have been known as the best absinthes in the times of their origin. The Sapin contains additional traces of a fir needle liqueur made by Pernot.
