Evaluation:

Serpis Absinth Classic 65 is a good value for the money ( you just can\'t beat a 1 liter bottle). The licorice-like anise flavor is quite bold and there are also some citrus notes in there that are quite nice. It\'s also one of the few decent rouge absinthes out there although this is decidely Spanish and lacks the complex herbal elements of Swiss and French vertes and bleus. Visually,the 65 louches nicely and is quite pretty to watch fading from a strong red to an almost apricot opaline color. It would be nice if Serpis improved their presentation by using a nicer bottle. The plastic cap is a bit of a turn-off but all and all its a nice absinthe for beginners to try and a nice absinthe to return to when you desire that Spanish type of absinthe.
